League of Legends Map Planner

Place all ten champions on a 3D Summoner's Rift, draw plays, drop wards and camps, and check real spell, tower and freeze ranges at any level and build.

How to use this tool

Controls at a glance

  • Pick champions in the top bar, drag them on the map, click one to open its HUD (level, items, runes, spell ranges)
  • Left toolbar: pencil, arrows, shapes and text for drawing plays · wards, minions and jungle camps as drag-and-drop tokens
  • R toggles tower ranges, Z freeze zones · click a spell icon to draw its exact range on the map
  • Import a .rofl replay to load both teams' champions, runes and builds · everything autosaves in your browser

Questions

Map Planner questions

Is the LoL Map Planner free to use?

Yes. It is free, needs no account and runs in your browser. Your board, champions, items and drawings save automatically on your device, so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off.

Where do the champion stats and spell ranges come from?

Champion, item and rune data come from Riot's Data Dragon for the current patch. Base stats, spell ranges, AoE radii and costs are cross-checked against the League of Legends Wiki after every patch, so the numbers in the HUD match the live game.

Does the planner work on phones and tablets?

Yes. On smaller screens the tools move to a bar along the bottom, the shop and the champion HUD open as sheets, and you pinch to zoom and drag with two fingers to pan. A desktop or laptop is still the most comfortable way to draw detailed plays.

Can I load a real game into the planner?

Yes. Import a .rofl replay file from your League client and the planner loads both teams' champions, rune pages and final builds. Replays do not contain positions, so you still place the champions yourself.

Can I share a plan with my team or coach?

Plans are saved in your browser only for now. To share one, open the planner full-screen and take a screenshot, or walk through it live on a call. Shareable links are on our roadmap.
