What we collect, and why
1. Free coaching session requests
When you submit the form on /free-coaching/ we collect:
- Your Discord username
- Your game server (EUW, NA, OCE and so on)
- Your current rank
- Your main role
This information is not stored on our website. It is transmitted directly to a
private channel in our Discord server so a coach can contact you, and no copy is
kept in our website database or sent by email. Once delivered to Discord, the
message in that channel is the only record, and it is governed by Discord’s own
retention and by our moderation of that server.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to providing a service.
2. Abuse prevention
To stop automated form spam we briefly store a one-way hash of your IP address for
60 seconds. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP, it is not linked to
your submission, and it is discarded automatically.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service available and unabused.
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider and content delivery network record standard technical logs,
which may include IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These
are used for security and to keep the site running.

4. Analytics
We do not currently run analytics on this site. We intend to use Google Analytics
in future to understand which pages people visit and how they arrive.
If and when we enable it, analytics cookies will only be set after you consent
through our cookie banner, you will be able to withdraw consent at any time from
the cookie settings link in the footer, and we will update this policy to say how
long that data is kept. Google may process such data outside your country,
including in the United States.

5. Coaching sessions and bookings
When you pay for a coaching session, your payment details are collected and
processed entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card
number or billing details. All we receive back is confirmation of whether a
payment succeeded, so we know a session has been paid for.
- Payment providers: Stripe or PayPal, depending on which option you choose at
checkout. Both are international payment processors that may process data
outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. - What they hold: your payment details, governed by their own privacy
policies. See Stripe’s privacy policy and PayPal’s privacy statement for what
each stores and for how long. - What we hold: confirmation that a purchase was made, and nothing more
Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
Session recordings. Sessions are recorded only when a recording is requested,
and you will always be told before a session is recorded. Recordings are stored as
video files on YouTube, which is operated by Google and may process data outside
the UK and EEA. A recording may include your voice, your screen, and your in-game
account name.
You can ask us to delete a recording at any time.
- Visibility: Recordings are uploaded as unlisted. This means they do not
appear in YouTube search or on any public channel page, but anyone who has the
link can view them without a password. We share the link only with you and the
coach who ran the session. - Retention: Recordings are kept indefinitely so you can revisit them, and are
deleted whenever you ask us to remove one.
Legal basis: consent, which you give when you ask for the session to be
recorded and which you can withdraw.
Match history and replays. When a coach reviews your OP.GG history or a replay
file, it is looked at during the session and nothing is saved afterwards. We keep
no copy of your match history and no copy of any replay file.
6. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter using the form in the footer, we collect your
email address so we can send you patch breakdowns and coaching guides. We use it
for nothing else, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by
contacting us. Unsubscribing removes your address from the list entirely.
Legal basis: consent, which you give by subscribing and can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
Full details of every cookie, its purpose and its lifetime are listed in our
Cookie Policy, which is
generated from a scan of this site and kept current automatically. In summary we
use:
- Functional cookies required for the site to work, including remembering your
cookie choices. These do not require consent. - Analytics cookies, set only with your consent, as described above.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Discord Inc. — receives free session requests so a coach can reach you.
Processed in the United States. See Discord’s privacy policy. - Google — session recordings hosted on YouTube where a recording has been
made, and analytics data if we enable analytics in future and you consent.
Processed in the United States. - CynderHost — hosts the site and serves it through their content delivery
network, and so processes technical logs. Processed in the United States. - Mailchimp — sends our newsletter and holds the email addresses of
subscribers. Operated by Intuit and processed in the United States. - Stripe and PayPal — process your payment when you book a session, depending
on which you choose. They receive your payment details directly; we do not.
May be processed in the United States.
Where data leaves the UK or EEA, transfers rely on the safeguards published by
those providers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to access your data, correct it,
have it erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format,
and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, contact us through
our contact page or in the Level Legendary
Discord server. We will respond within one month.
Because free session requests are not stored on our website, an erasure request
for one means deleting the relevant message from our Discord channel, which we
will do on request.
You may also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the
Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EU it is your national authority.
Children
Our coaching is intended for players who meet the minimum age for a Riot Games
account in their country. We do not knowingly collect data from children below the
age at which consent is valid in their country, which ranges from 13 to 16 across
the EU. If you believe a child has submitted their details, contact us and we will
remove them.
Under 16s. Anyone under the age of 16 should only sign up for or purchase
coaching with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you are under 16, please ask
a parent or guardian before booking a session or submitting your details to us.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has signed up or shared
their details without your consent, contact us and we will delete what we hold and
cancel any booking.
Changes
We will update this policy when our processing changes, and revise the date at the
top. Material changes will be announced in our Discord server.
